メタバース空間【VRChat】内に夏目漱石が東京千駄木に住んでいた頃の家通称「猫の家」を再現してみました。

文豪・夏目漱石が、イギリスから帰国後の明治36年から3年間住んだ場所。ここで、処女作「我が輩は猫である」を執筆し、旧居は作品の舞台となりました。「倫敦塔」や「坊ちゃん」、「草枕」などの大作もここで執筆されました。現在は、日本医大同窓会館の敷地となっています。
東京大学の英語教師を務めていた夏目漱石はここから通勤していました。漱石の前の英語教師を務めていたのはあの小泉八雲ことラフカディオハーン
また教え子の藤村操が日光を華厳の滝で〇〇してしまったのもこの家に住んでいた頃のようです（この事件で日光華厳の滝は○○の名所に・・・）
森鴎外もこの家に居住していました。
ゴールデンカムイの梅ちゃんの家のモデルにもなっているとの噂も！
現在建物自体は愛知県犬山市の明治村に移築されています。

【VRChat Soseki Natsume – Cat House】
In the metaverse space [VRChat], I reproduced the house commonly called “Cat’s House” where Soseki Natsume lived when he lived in Sendagi, Tokyo.

This is the place where Soseki Natsume, a great writer, lived for three years from 1903 after his return from England. It was here that he wrote his first novel, “I am a Cat,” and his former residence became the stage for his works. He also wrote “The London Tower,” “Botchan,” “Kusamakura,” and other major works here. Today, it is the site of the Japan Medical Alumni Association.
Soseki Natsume, an English teacher at the University of Tokyo, commuted to work from here. Soseki’s previous English teacher was that Koizumi Yakumo, Lafcadio Hearn.
It also seems that it was while he was living in this house that his student, Misao Fujimura, was killed at Kegon Falls in Nikko (this incident made Nikko Kegon Falls a famous place for XX…).
